News and Notes
Hi everyone! Despite catty and hater-ish comments from my coworkers at The Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture about my slacking on updating my blog, the folks NPR's News and Notes apparently love me anyway! I will be joining the Blogger's Roundtable discussion ONCE AGAIN this Monday, May 5th at 1:20 EST. The last time I was on News and Notes I had a really bad cold and was definitely not my usual chatty self. So, I plan to spend all weekend taking echinacea and vitamin C and trying to get some therapeutic massages and whatnot!

I didn't know you worked THERE. I have a Bachelor's in Black Studies and now I'm a Grad Student in Urban Studies

Dave, me too! Went to The Ohio State University and got a B.A. in African-American and African Studies. And, yeah... I LOVE The Schomburg!
